Web Server Requirements

The requirements below come as standard with most hosting accounts but if your not sure then give us a call and were be happy to check for you.

Linux, UNIX or variants
Web Server: Apache Web Server
Scripting Language: PHP 4.1.0 or above
Database: MySQL 3.23 or above
safe_mode turned off (default)

Some clients have managed to install the software on Windows based servers but our free installation service is not offered on these systems nor do we support the installation to Windows based systems or any errors caused by the software being installed on such a sysyem, for best results we recommend Linux/Unix based enviroments.

Other: To use autoresponders, your need access to Cron on your web server (default) To process bounced emails, your version of PHP needs access to the imap_xxx functions (default).

Other: There must be NO restrictions on browser-based file uploading if you want file attachment uploading to work. This includes but is not limited to file_upload, etc. If you're unsure whether your server meets these requirements, simply contact us with your FTP details and we'll check for you free of charge
